Create an algorithm that measures user data to estimate which, in a group of businesses, is most busy. For example if you have ten cupcake shops and you have their app based user data (interactions and user location) how would you estimate which is most full (the cupcake shops vary in size). This is for a potential business idea but also just a curiousity. Bid away

I am very proficient in c and c++. I have 16 years c++ developing experience now, and have worked for more than 6 years. My work is online game developing, and mainly focus on server side, using c++ under linux environment. I used c++ to make many great projects, for example, I made the tools which can convert java files into c++ scripts, of course garbage collection included, this job is very similar to a compiler, and is very complex. I also made our own mobile game using c++, I can show you the demo of client, if you like. I am very proficient in java also. I have a very good review on Freelancer.com, I never miss a project once I accept the job, you can check my review. Trust me, please let expert help you.

The job requires reading the data carefully and understanding what all pieces are important for finding which shop is most busy. I am writing software, solving problems from almost 20 years. And I have done so for my 3 degrees Bachelors & Masters in Computer Science & MBA, as well. I understand algorithms/problem solving very well and will be able to understand and capture all key elements from data into possible solution from the business point of view as well. Please contact me to further discuss things like what data is collected? how big is the sample? What deliverables are expected?

Hi, If I understood correctly, the main objective of the project is how to quantify the term “most busy”. Then write a C-program to find this quantity from user data. So I am trying to define some mathematical quantities which reflects “busy”. Suppose we have all shops working for 12 hours, but with different seating capacities. And app data is available in the below format: Group_sl_no No_of_people IN_time OUT_time No_of_Items_Ordered METHOD 1: Calculate BUSY_PERCENT If a shop have X number of seat , Maximum available seat time in minutes, Tmax = X *12*60 From app data table we can get , Engaged seat time Teng = No_of_people*( OUT_time - IN_time ) ,sum for all groups. Now BUSY_PERCENT = Teng/Tmax, The shop with highest BUSY_PERCENT can be considered as “most busy” for the day. METHOD 2 : Calculate SQUARE_POINTS Method 1 will reflect only the total time seat were occupied, it won’t capture the fact if shops were busy for a short time or customers visited in small fractions during entire 12 hours. If having peak attendance in some short periods are the preferred criteria for being “most busy” then we can use following method. From the table for each 12*60 minutes find out the fraction of seat occupied, then square and some all 12*60 terms to obtain SQUARE_POINTS. The one with maximum will be the “most busy”. If we need to know how much shop employees are busy then “ No_of_Items_Ordered” are also to be considered. Please contact if interested.
