Hi, I would like an app that indexes videos by sound data, extracts sound features and hashes these features. The hashed features will be placed on neural network (self organizing map). There will be an input text box which the user will enter a query like "Good bye" and the app will convert this into to speech (audio data, English). This audio data will be searched in the videos and matches will be found. This will be a similarity search. The videos with the results will be show in a list, with the matching times in the videos. Hi very nice project really. i see that the algorithms is simple in implemented really in many voice commends and VADs But i think many factors will affect the accuracy of the process. one of the important issues is the background sound. i suggest to use machine learning to separate the background sound from the voice in the videos also i suggest to scan the sound in the video first to detect the voice rate and speech parameter of the speaker in the video in order to avoid searching for many scales and pitches of the words so lets talk and get into more details about your interesting project

Can we use google speech to text to build the database, also reverse while searching?
