You will be working with is a high dimensional dataset (500 features) containing 2000 data instances (records). Each data instance belongs to one of two classes, taking values -1 or +1. This dataset contains a high level of noise (distracting or irrelevant features) which restricts the classification accuracy that can be obtained. At the same time model building time is also high due to the presence of such a large number of features. overall task is to improve performance as much as possible (classification accuracy as well as model building time).

I'm a graduate student in the Master in Artificial Intelligence, and I've done previous projects working with Real World datasets. I plan to use statistical techniques to remove the features that contribute the most to the high level of noise in the dataset. Then I'll use Deep Learning models in combination with optimization techniques like cross-validation and others to improve the performance of the model. I'll use the Python language to do the job. So if it is mandatory the use of R and Weka, please do not consider my bid.
