You have to design and build an Digital VU-Meter/RTA Analyzer that would mimic the behavior of an Analog VU, and Real Time Audio(RTA) Analyzer with multiple choice of colors. Similar to the one in the pictures and video I attached here. I have the display which is a phone display 3.2" 640x360 TFT and I will accept NO OTHER display. It has to accept mono audio signal and be as accurate as possible in displaying the audio signal amplitude in VU and amplitude and frequency in RTA mode. I will give more functionality details after awarding the project. You have to provide a working unit, electronic schematics and code for the MCU. Just bid whatever that you consider it's fair for you. I may not award the lowest price. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY AND WATCH MY VIDEO AND PICTURES. I already spent 6 months and hundreds of dollars working with a promising engineer on this project just to be told that he can not do it. This will not happen again. Here are two videos showing something similar to what I want: VU-Mode - [login to view URL] RTA Mode - [login to view URL] Thank you

I done similar project, the sound processing with output to TFT, used controller STM32F429I. VU-Mode and RTA Mode is not a problem, I can use two layer frame buffer. I will be glad to do this for you.

Hello, Have a great day. I am representative of a startup company I-TECH. We will ship a fully tested and working device based on Arduino due (we need high speed ADC and DAC, ARM can also serve the purpose) and TFT. We will provide 3 modes of display (BAR, LED and Needle type). For more details please feel free to contact us. Best Regards, Shahbaz.

Hello, I have been watching this project since it was posted yesterday as it tends to attract a lot of automated responses and people who claim to be able to do things. As you have had a prior bad experience I have no desire to add to it. However I have noticed that the job has attracted some engineers who are good in circuit design and microprocessors but not necessarily good in the finer aspects of the intended application. Based on your requirements and videos I understand that you are seeking a piece of audio analysis equipment but in doing so there are a few questions I would like to as in order to refine the bid and timelines. 1) VU (Volume Unit) is a *very* analogue term which does not translate well to the digital domain. Specifically the standard VU meter range is from -20dB to 3dB and was based on reading analogue voltages. When we consider that ADC's can now measure signals as low as -127dB it is quickly apparent that the VU meter will be very misleading and discard any but the loudest and audible sounds. Would we not perhaps benefit more from a more modern measuring standard? 2) What accuracy would be required from the FFT or DFT for the RTA? *** Unfortunately I am out of space on the freelancer system to write more questions but please could we discuss on the chat system or via Skype (vk4isp) so that I could be of further assistance to you. Please check my portfolio for similar RTA's designed for HTML5 Webaudio Regards, Stephen Lombard Your API Expert
