I have quite a bit of experience in making Excel reports and dashboards (about 8 years' worth in the banking world), usually pulling the data from a database such as SQL Server or Access. You don't mention where the data is coming from, and say that you have no control over the process that creates it, which is something I would need to look into. What I can say with certainty regarding dashboard design is that usually it is best to mock up a few different design ideas and exchange and test various ideas over a few days - meaning you should allow a couple of weeks for the project. The speedometer in that youtube is web based this is not so recomended to be used as can be an open door to your system for hacks and torjens. there are other tricks that can be used using excel build in tools/graphs to create speedometers. if of interest pls contact me over the website chat and we can discuss further. brgds, itay
