I am presently and have for the last 10 years worked for the Walt Disney Company as a copywriter and copy editor in the Home Entertainment Division, primarily with ad materials for the Disney Movie Club. I most recently finished a project writing, editing and proofing over 200 different variations of customer service letters for members or prospective members of the club that covered a myriad of situations, including marketing messaging to join the club, and marketing messaging to fulfill their club commitment (buy movies at club prices). Prior to that, I had a column in the LA Times - Orange County entitled REWIND in which I reviewed undervalued, overlooked movie gems that had been recently released in home entertainment media. I have a degree in writing from Syracuse University, Magna Cum Laude from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications and a winner of two writing based academic scholarships. I have been working in the marketing side of creative writing most of the 20 years of my career and have the added advantage of copyediting also, so you can be assured your final product will be professionally presented, in the correct AP Style, grammatically correct and free of spelling errors.
