Divi Theme - build "horse roster" pages for website

We have a website www.bloomracing.com. We own horses and want to display them in a grid, and then when you click on one of them, show the detailed information on each horse you click on. A great sample of this is as follows - here is the grid of the horse roster [login to view URL] then when you click on one of the horses, you get this [login to view URL] We use the Divi theme from Elegant Themes. Divi has a pagebuilder and is easy to use, but I don't know how to do what I explain above and need it done within our site. I think we need a custom post type for this, but not sure.
