Build a Restaurant Website

This is an exciting project with opportunity for future work. For this project you must have a proven track record with creating Wordpress sites and ability to code professionally. You will also need a strong ability to ensure that the website loads quickly. A professional theme will be provided to you but it will require some customisation work to ensure that it functions on Chrome, Firefox & Safari and is mobile friendly for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. A high level summary of the requirements for the site are: 1) Homepage with header, search section, menu for links to pages, share icons, posts section, forum section, footer section for copyright, contact us etc. 2) Categories for posts 3) Posts for each Restaurant. The page for a post will utilise most of the common Wordpress functionality e.g. free text & images but will also require some additional features such as social sharing, like/dislike button, custom fields e.g address (1 or many), related content section. 4) My List - ability for the user to save a post to a list that they can view later. List names will be automatically based on parent categories for Posts. 5) Search capability - Tabs for filtering search critiera and a Search Bar with a drop down, search field and search button. The Tab options are Restaurant, Near Me, Forums, Maps. 6) Social Login Integration for Facebook, Google Plus and User Registration. Style to be similar to AirBnB. 7) Forum which uses BBPress 8) Maps search functionality - Ability for the address of posts from search results to be viewed on a map. The map must use Google Maps and the map must have markers to represent each post and marker clusterings (or markers clasterization). 9) Near Me search functionality - which returns a list of posts within 5km from the user's GPS location. 10) Performance - all pages must load in 1 sec from anywhere in the world via connection speed of 2MBps. The assumption is there will be 5000 posts spread across 10 parent categories i.e. 500 posts per parent category. 11) Implementation of a professional theme that has been purchased already. 12) Mobile friendly for iPhone, iPad and Android 13) Browser compatible for Chrome, Firefox & Safari 14) Ad spaces - when visiting the site a pop up should display, below the search bar, at the top of the forum 15) SEO friendly using SEO Yoast 16) Automated backup mechanism 17) Easy to use email newsletter system integrated into mailchimp that will allow newsletters to be created that can be pre-populated with posts from the site or threads from the forums. 18) 2 environments - test and prod with an easy to follow system in place for promoting changes from test to prod e.g. maintenance page. 19) Advice on redirection or mirroring for domains different to the primary domain this site will be on.
