I have 7 years of web design experience. 4 of those years was spent at an SEO firm in Santa Monica where I worked closely with the law offices of Philip Boesch Jr (of Anna Nicole Smith litigation fame) on their now very much dated website (it's 4 years old and I no longer live in LA). That being said, I have experience working with law firms. Not only do you need the content structure that you mentioned in your post, you also need the ability to scale. SEO is all about content. For example: having a glossary of terms will help your ranking. It's redundant, but it's an example of content that you will eventually need in order to rank, especially if you're in a major metropolitan area and have a lot of competition. After the completion of the site, I'd be more than willing to work with you on SEO, even giving advice on how to effectively increase traffic. With the new google algorithm, it's now more about content than it is about keywords. I have worked with Wordpress extensively.
