Catalogue Text Layout Project (MONTHLY PROJECT)

Tara TPS is the largest commercial printer in South Korea (company video: [login to view URL]). We have a very large client in Japan that is requesting text layout for their monthly catalogue. They would like us to control this process for them and we are happy to do this. We are looking for a designer to complete text layouts of their monthly catalogue- there is no graphic design involved. The project involves working with our client as they give you the text updates to be included in the catalogue. You will then complete the text layout (preferably via. Adobe InDesign) and when the text layout has been completed and the catalogues are ready, you will send the final files to us and we will then print the catalogue for the client. As this is a monthly project, you will need to commit to the text layout for the long term. The process takes roughly two weeks and all work is completed in the first two weeks of every month (the 2nd half of the month is reserved of the printing of the catalogues). In regard to the size of the project, the average number of pages for the catalogue is 186. Most of these pages have small text changes that will need to be laid up. We are willing to offer a per page rate of 3,000JPY per page, meaning if there there were changes to every page, you would be looking at a monthly payment of 558,000JPY or roughly $4,600 dollars. Designer Requirements: Only designers who fit the following requirements will be considered: Designers must live in Japan (preferably Tokyo but not essential) Designers must speak Japanese and English (Japanese- Fluent. English- beginner / intermediate is fine) Designers must be available for the first two weeks of every month Must work in Adobe InDesign The chosen designer will be paid in JPY at the end of every month.
