design of a children's book character

Hi I am looking for the design of a children's book character called "Elman the Rabbit" I need an original character with different designs for different pages of the book. The concept is that "Elman the Rabbit" is a story teller that needs the help of the child to enter a wonderful world of imagination. Elman the rabbit needs the child to carry out steps in their imagination to go on his journey etc. The rabbit himself should be in his teens and to come across as very loveable and the type a child would respect and follow his instruction etc
