Children's Book illustrations

I'm self-publishing a children's book and I'm looking to hire a talented illustrator to provide me with images for it. The theme of the book will require that the illustrations be imaginative, eye-catching and colorful. Many of pictures will be driven more by representing someone's imagination so the artist will need be creative. The book will require the following illustrations: - A cover illustration - Title page illustration - 8 illustrations of 20" x 8" each Each of these 8 illustrations will take up both sides of a 10" x 8" book I have a rough idea of what I’d like on each illustration. I'm not looking to get it out immediately, however, I would expect 4-6 weeks for the first pass of illustrations to be completed. To be considered for this job, it is required that you provide me with samples of your work.
