My best friend lost her daughter, Cora Grace, at only 19 days of age after fighting a rare virus last February. Her pastor wrote a beautiful poem about Cora Grace opening her eyes in heaven and all that she saw which was read at her funeral- it was beautiful. My friend, Felicia, is trying to honor her life in several ways this February as they celebrate and grieve her first birthday in heaven. One thing she is doing is #kindnessforcora - an effort to have people do random acts of kindness to honor Cora's life. She's hoping many of these acts will be towards other grieving parents, parents of current NICU patients, and children. I would love to accomplish a #kindessforcora towards Felicia herself by getting her daughter's poem illustrated in a children's book format. I do not have the artistic skills for such a task, but neither do I have much money to put towards this project. If you feel lead to offer your services free of charge as a #kindessforcora or at little cost, please contact me and we can go from there. Thank you for your time.
