We use using google my maps: [login to view URL] For a given map, we need to add some new markers (locations) every month. Due to the limitation of Google my maps, we have to create a new layer each time, but then quickly reach to the limit (10 layers). We want to have a web based program which can add the markers to the existing layer (instead of creating a new layer). The program will take a CSV file as input. The CSV file contains the "address" information, and other information to be displayed. An example of such map is: [login to view URL] Presumably you need extensive knowledge about google map API and javascript.

I have a very good experience in using javascript with google maps api as i worked in a project using this technology. The project was about public transportation where the user enters the source and destination as markers on google maps and the available routes appear to him to choose the best with the ability to drag the marker in case of choosing another source and destination. I used an api called OTP(Open Trip Planner) which is called by a web service which is then called by javascript layer. The OTP was useful in getting a json object having the required data for the project.
