You have mentioned you need a animated gif, later you said you prefer it to be transparent so the animation can be placed on a web page. That is something not possible with GIFs. Do you need this animation to work with mobile devices as well? If not, Flash is a perfect solution. If you like it to work with mobile devices too, we will have to consider using HTML5 animation.
