I have a Magento task that I need help with. I need to place a precious metal calculator for visitors to my Magento site to use. This calculator will calculate the the value of a customer's item based on the metal of the item (gold, silver, platinum and palladium), the weight of the item (ounces, pennyweights and grams) and the current market value of the metal of the item (which is calculated every minute). The customer will enter the purity of the metal. Also, I'd like for the calculator to display the price I will buy from the customer (typically 90% of the market value of the item). Lastly, I'd like the calculator to show my store's logo. It is important that I retain exclusive rights to the calculator and would not be used anywhere else.

hi based on your requirement i believe you own a jewellery store. i have worked for a magento based jewellery store where we created a custom module which allows the customer to design his own jewellery from seecting stones to metal to design to fitting charges. the values of all items varied depending on the current rate of metal ; the prices were not static. so it would be nice to work with u. for my work please refer to aummary and portfolio of this(freelancer)site
