We are looking for a mobile app developer who will start by building an Android and iOS app in the broad area of social messaging. You will need to have experience building Android and/or iOS apps using the native SDKs or a higher level framework like Appcelerator, Kivy etc. In addition, you will have the following skills: 1. Designing pleasant, intuitive, rich app UI 2. Building notification handling in the app. 3. Understanding of how to retrieve JSON data from a hosted web-service and render on app UI (the web-services already exist). We will provide basic mockups and detailed information about the web-services for you to get started. Experience with jQuery and Ajax, HTML/CSS skills are a plus. Previous examples of work with mobile apps will help us expedite the hire process.
