Create a custom ImageView class that slowly scans over the image

I have an ImageView in my app that displays user uploaded images (see attachment: salad picture). This ImageView is always the same size in a landscape layout. The images that users upload can be portrait or landscape photos. Most portrait photos dont look good when they are stretched to fit the horizontal ImageView. I dont't want to crop the image or leave blank spaces on the side. I need a custom class that takes an image that can be any size zooms and pans around the image. It would zoom in and start at the top of the image, and then it slowly pans down and zooms in. After a few seconds the ImageView will fade to another part of the image and slowly pan and zoom in a different direction. There should be 3-4 different starting points for the pan/zoom animation and the whole image should be scanned. We basically want to copy the functionality in this iOS app: [login to view URL] To see the feature in action, create a new hotspot in the app, and then click on the camera icon on the top of the current hotspot page and add a picture. You will see the image zoom and pan continously.
