Hi, I am an RoR Developer and native-English speaker with experience building a Rewards Card system (similar to Canada's Air Miles) from the ground up w/ Postgres DB. I wrote all MVC code, customized Devise for additional conditions / responses, added SMS-functionality, converted PSD to HTML, used Prawn to generate Reports in PDF, customized images per-user via ImageMagick, created Javascript lookups and form-field verifications, wrote an API for our Android App (store-employee portal), and then wrote the Android App itself (Java). Development followed an Agile framework. In years prior, I have done various IT work from RDBS reports (Access), Linux and FreeBSD server-setup and maintenance, and completed my Bachelors (SCL) and MS in Computer Science (4.0). In order to build a larger RoR portfolio, I am willing to provide my work at a very competitive rate (read: 'dirt-cheap'). Any holes in my knowledge will be filled on *my* time - never billed.
