Dexcom Share 2 - alarm enhancer

Background:  1 - Type 1 Diabetes is a disease that requires constant infusion and monitoring of insulin. This is particularly hard during sleep where glucose levels may vary significantly and actions need to be taken to avoid the long term complications of hyperglycemia (heart, eyes, kidney problems) or hypoglycemia (brain damage, death) 2 - A broadly used system to control glucose levels is Dexcom G4. It consists of a sensor and a transmiter on the patient's body that sends data to a receiver which will whow your glucose levels. This receiver will in turn connect to an iphone which will send your glucose data to the cloud (through an app called Dexcom share 2) and several other iphones could access that glucose data thorugh the app Dexcom follow. [login to view URL] 3 - With the dexcom follow app you can set alarms based on glucose levels.  4 - Issue with these alarms is 2-fold: 1 - they dont continuously beep until you shut them down like you would do with an alarm to wake up. The beep may not be loud enough for the heavy sleeper. 2 - You can not set an alarm based on the speed of glucose increase/decrease. Project Description 1 - Create an iphone app that reads the dexcom values and alarms based on user definition of a combination of glucose levels and Speed of glucose increae/decrease. 2 - Manage the submission and acceptance of this app into the app store for a minimum value payment (0.99$ is my first assumption but it may change) Details 1 - Dexcom will provide at every 5 minutes 1 number with your glucose level, and 1 arrow showing how fast that glucose is trending up or down.  2 - The app should allow the user to define multiple combinations (1 integer number between 50 and 400, and 1 of 7 arrow options) 3 - The alarm should be similar to the iphone clock alarm: it beeps until you close it or snooze it.
