The objective of this project is to design a suitable barrier system for homes and shop houses that are prune to flash flood. Micro-controller circuit is chosen and used to solve various problems. The barrier will be automatically activated when the sensor detects an increase flow of raindrops preventing further rise of water level from entering the premises any further. 1. Sensor - to detect the rise of the water level 2. Mirco-Controller – to activate the flood gate 3. Water storage system – to channel out water collected to the canal 4. SMS – the user will receive a notification of the current water level status
