I have a database that contains approx. 30,000 records with each record containing 19 data fields. I need a utility that makes it very quick and easy to filter the records based on multiple specified data points, allows for easy editing and updating. One of the data fields contains a web address which I would need to open in order to view some of the data that required updating. Due to the number of records which requires updating on a regular basis it is critical that the utility function quickly, with the absolute minimum # of clicks/selects.
I’m thinking the utility would either be:
Mac based;
Microsoft Excel based;
Microsoft Access based;
However, I’m open to suggestion. I’m looking to work closely with a select freelancer who will provide an optimal solution.
