Dear All,
I am developing an application in Borland C++ Builder 4. I need an expert in Win32 Programming.
My program calls another .EXE by using the following code segment. [login to view URL] runs without any problems and shell window appears.
gHWnd = ShellExecute(
0,
"open", // Operation to perform
"prog\\[login to view URL]", // Application name
"", // Additional parameters
".", // Default directory
SW_SHOWNORMAL
);
After this point, I want to send keystrokes to that window. This is a user interface development project for an existing .exe.
I tried the following code segment, but I am unable to set focus to gHWnd. I have to send certain characters, such as Y, N, numbers, and RETURN (ENTER) key.
SetActiveWindow ( gHWnd );
SetForegroundWindow ( gHWnd );
EnableWindow ( gHWnd, 1 );
keybd_event ( 90, 0, WM_KEYDOWN, 0 );
PLEASE READ DELIVERABLES.
You don't need to deliver complete Borland .bpr file; just give me code segments as explained in Deliverables section.
Good luck.
Please contact me via this bid for any clarifications.
## Deliverables
Due to confidentiality reasons, I cannot give you prog.exe. However, you can try it by developing your own [login to view URL] and then please deliver me a working two functions - please look at deliverables.
Please note that, in the final version, the Shell window will not be visible. So, your program should be able to send/simulate key strokes on the hidden window - if this is possible.
As you may have already understood, this is an urgent task. I will approve a bid immediately and I will release funds as soon as I saw the application running on my machine.
Addendum:
----------
I need two functions:
1. RunApplication ()
Will basically launch the given program.
2. SendKeyToApplication (KEYCODE, your parameters)
Will send KEYCODE to the application; you decide on the parameters.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
