I have consulted telecom and consumer goods for their CRM solution and I can understand what you are trying to look into. However, there must be many things that needs to be discussed in details, so they are clearer to you, which effectively make it easier for you to decide which things are important/immediate requirement, their time and budget, as well how o scale the solution for future.
I use Skype and would suggest for a meeting to make matter more vivid.
