Create php code to update google calendar

If you have a way of creating this without using Google Data API, that is fine, but it seems as if that is the best or easiest way to do this. Google has Data API which is designed to allow for the creating of events on a google calendar from an outside source. I would like someone to use the PHP version to create functions which will do the following to my google calendar from my website. 1. add a single event to my google calendar 2. add a reoccuring event to my google calendar 3. delete an event from my google calendar 4. delete a single event that is reocurring, but leave the rest of the reoccuring events in place. 5. delete all of a set of reoccuring events.
