DBMS prototype system

system contains the following functionalities: 1. Data Definition part: a. define new tables: table name and attribute names b. for each defined table ask users to input possible FDs: trivial FDs should be weeded out, all FDs should be rewritten in non-trivial ones, and weak FDs should be ignored c. ask users to define keys for each table, if the user-defined keys disagree the keys reached by its FDs, deny them 2. Data Manipulation part: a. users can input new tuples to all tables, your system should deny those that violate FDs b. users can delete a tuple based on key value c. users can perform actions below for one table: i) find attribute(s) for tuples which satisfy conditions for some attributes ii) group tuples based on one chosen attribute d. users can choose to perform the following operators for two tables: cross join, natural join, union, intersection, difference e. users can delete a table To reduce the complexity of your program, the following constraints are in effect: 1. _at most_ five attributes for a table. 2. _at most_ five FDs for each table. 2. single character (upper case) attribute names. 3. the type for ALL attributes is integer. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
