Continuous play capability for my video website

I have a video website, something similar to youtube. I want to add continuous play capability based on the category or search results. I already have a basic capability to read the most recent videos uploaded (from the mySql database) (say 50) and play them in sequence in the SWF flash player. I'm not an expert in php script writing so I need someone to enhance my script to make it generic enough to work for different categories and based on search results. I noticed in my script that if its preloading the list before the website gets displayed so if I choose a large number (say 200 in my php continuous play loop) it takes a long time for the website to load. In addition, I want to pass each video parameters (video name, rating, internal page) to the player so the information can be displayed when the video is playing and if the viewer clicks on the video screen it takes him/her to the video page.
