Customize Adobe Flex Code - Finance Flex

My project involves customization of an existing Adobe Flex project called Finance Flex (Step 5): [login to view URL] Currently, the chart retrieves the data from an XML file. I will need it to be customized to read from a MySQL database (both data points and tag items). I also need the volume part of the chart to be deleted as I will not need that functionality. The form to add tag items needs to be deleted as well. Lastly, I will need to be able to easily resize the chart if I need to so I would like that part to be "parameterized."
