Converting a drawn image into a digital format

I've written a children's book and have hand-drawn pictures I would like to have converted into a digital format, so that the completed work can be viewed on devices like IPads and Kindle Fires. This first project is to convert a single hand-drawn black and white image into a high quality colorful digital image that still appears to be hand-drawn. I am using this first project as a test. If it is done well I will be looking for someone to convert 14 images in total and to help me produce a finished product. I'm fun and easy to work with, so please don't hesitate to ask questions.
