Create a Wordpress Template

Synopsis Will be part of a development team responsible for the development of some of the most highly recognized brands on the Web. Will work closely with stakeholders including some of the best Product Managers in the industry. Most of the development will be focused on "Front End functionality but there will be a degree of backend development as well. Day to Day o Wordpress theming including the development of front end functionality, templates, custom modules, etc. o Code, test and document object-oriented JS using standard libraries like jQuery as well as shared company libraries and third-party plugins o Will make use of 3rd JS and PHP APIs for Google Maps, FB, Twitter, Advertising Systems o Work within a LAMP environment o In addition to development will be involved in architecture and design while maximizing performance, SEO and code stability Will Need the Following: o Hands on coding expertise in HTML, CSS and Javascript, Cross Browser o Experience working with large, consumer facing,highly scalable websites o Word Press themes and plug-ins a MUST (able to provide examples of prior work) jQuery or any other Javascript Libraries a MUST o PHP is definitely required o Strong understanding of internet technologies, including but not limited to internet protocols, server configuration, networking, caching and DNS o Source control, i.e. Git o Exp. with Open source platforms o Experience with Search Engine Optimization strategies o Ajax and JSON nice to have o Exp. DOM manipulation
