I have a DHTML/javascript script that I need altered slightly. This script is setup to countdown from a set number to 0 (i.e. from 100 to 0). It does that at a speed of X ( a value I set). Unfortunately, the speed stays exactly the same when counting down. What I want is the script modified so that the countdown is more random. Where one "tick" of the counter might happen 1 second after the last tick, then the next "tick" might happen 3, 4, or 5 seconds after the previous, then two "ticks" might happen almost back to back, etc. Possibly setting an avg. click countdown would work, or setting a countdown speed range (i.e. from .3-10 seconds). I'm in a hurry so I would want this as quickly as possible.
