Develop an educational website

We are hiring a web developer to build an educational website. Interested developer should create a sample beginning of the application. Once this sample is completed successfully, we will begin the work asap. Once sample is completed, please have it on a development webserver that I can access to test its functionality as described below: The platform should allow any user to register and create a personal page using either their facebook account or by completing a form to create a personal profile. User profile must include their educational information – school and course of study If user used the facebook login option, the platform will access the user’s facebook info and create user’s personal profile using the user’s Basic Info from facebook and their educational infomation (if available) 1. If user’s school is not available from facebook, the platform will prompt the user to enter their school information from a list of schools in a dropdown menu. a. University of Basic Sciences - UBS b. College of Health and Dental Care- CHD c. Federal Polytechnic – FPT d. Phantom College – PTC e. University College London – UCL Then indicate their course or department. 2. If user school info from facebook does not match any of the schools available in the dropdown (a-e), the user is notified that their “school is not yet available on the platform at this time” and then prompted to either select another school from the list of schools in the dropdown menu (a-e) above or “continue anyway” using the school from facebook. 3. If user’s school info from facebook is one of those listed, user is simply asked to confirm that school info is correct by clicking a Yes or No. If user clicks No, then the dropdown menu is brought forth, so user may select another school. 4. Once school info is obtained successfully from user, user will be asked to optionally indicate their course of study and year or expected year of graduation unless if already obtained via the facebook login option. 5. This completes the registration process and user’s profile page appears with a picture of them from facebook or uploaded manually. 6. A successfully registered user will have a profile page and a desktop page. 7. The user’s profile page will contain their Profile picture, Basic Info and educational info– school and course of study. 8. The user’s desktop page will include their picture and a one-row field to post messages, which any user can add comment to in a thread.
