CRE Loaded Product Import

I have a CRE loaded installation and I need to get my products imported. There will be two parts to this job. 1.? Transform product data (get it ready for import) 2.? Retreive product images. That's pretty much it.? I think it should be a straightforward project for someone that can write some perl or awk or sed or something and transform the input file into the right format for OSC / CRE and parse out the URl for the product images and feed it into a command line FTP or as a batch FTP file or whatever. Thanks! Chris ## Deliverables Hi All, Here's what I have.? I am getting a product file from my supplier.? This file is not in the correct format for import to CRE Loaded.? It's close, but there are a couple fields that are going to need to be parsed out.? The most important ones are: 1.? Category.? In the file I get from the provider, the "Category" is shown as one field like this: "Movies > DVD > Action" and I'll need to parse this out into multiple fields as: "Category 1" and "Sub Category" etc. 2.? Product Images.? The file that comes from the supplier has a URL location for small, medium, and large image files.? I want to parse these URL's out, and then fetch the files from the remote server (at the supplier) and put them locally. So the end result would be that all the products from the product file that I supply to you will be imported successfully into m CRE Loaded store with product images locally stored and linked.
