Auction Site

Basic needs are for an auction website where I anticipate about 500-1000 visitors per day.? The forward plan is to expand but this is the initial forecast as I start off, so I want to make sure we can handle that traffic on a daily basis, with logins and products, etc.? My functionality is pretty standard with that of other auction sites including log in features, buy it now, reserves, etc.? However, there are a couple of things I would like to have integrated into my site that go above and beyond traditional auction websites.? This is a brand-new site. I need both? development and design done.? ? This can be done through? pre-existing auction software with open source we can? add functionality to,? but we would also need full design done with heavy graphics.? I? will provide copy, logo, and color scheme. ## Deliverables Additional specs: -- I need to prohibit? user interaction.? ? I need? a? platform where the seller can post an item and the buyer can bid on the item, but any contact would have to? go through myself.? -- My payment method would use a third party escrow service vs paypal or direct payment.? The third party escrow service would need to be integrated so that once a buyer is ready to purchase, they would create a profile of some sort and deposit the monies into my company's escrow.? This process would need to fit seamlessly into my purchasing process. -- I? need to be able to create trigger emails at specific points of a process as they are kicked off.? (i.e. Once an item has been won/purchased, an automatic message would be sent to seller that indicates his item has been won/purchased). ? --? I will need pre and post production? support? -- hosting, server,? all post production (support for breaks, hacks, crashes, modifications, additions, etc.) -- I need a fully functioning site where I am? integrated? into the process as each item is? sold.
