We own and operate an online streaming radio station using ICECAST and we would like to have a custom script written that will give us an accurate and live count of daily unique listener connections (based on IP) and daily returning listeners (based on IP over 24 hours). Our station is using SAM Broadcaster and ICECAST. The current stats view page is here : [login to view URL] but only shows live listener count and max listener count. We need a daily running count and historical. No graphics or CSS theme's required. A simple text output will be enough. Please contact me with any questions...thanks!

This sounds like a task aligned with my skills. Parsing the icecast connection logs, one can formulate a connection/dropoff timeline for the day/hour/broadcast, etc. Parsing could be done periodically using a cron task, and sent by e-mail or posted directly to the [login to view URL] site I would require either direct access to the system, or could possibly work with just the a sample of a day's log files to generate the script.
