We are using an ActiveX Control developed in Visual Basic 6.0 in our site. The main functionality of the control is to edit(like crop/rotation etc) the images selected by the user from local machine and then to upload it to our server using the Inet control (Microsoft Internet Transfer control 6.0) of Visual Basic 6.0 using FTP. The ActiveX control is working fine on the PC on which it is developed but it is unable to load on other machines even after registering the control and all its dependencies (like dlls and other Activex controls) on the targeted PC. The problem occurs on all the PC which has Windows 2000 Professional installed. The control is loaded on most of PCs which have Windows XP installed. We are providing the link of .CAB file on the page which uses the Control. The .CAB file is created by the Package and Deployment Wizard Add-in of Visual Basic 6.0 and it is signed using the certificate provided by Comodo Code Signing CA. There is no problem in the functionality of the control but may be some problem in registering process. So we need the control working on all the PC without depending on the OS used by the PC. I will provide Activex after I choose the bidder. You can access the Activex control from the link: [login to view URL]
