Develop a simple web based tool and its website (market test phase)

Aim of the Tool This is just the market test version for the tool, which if performing, will bring to a wider web project. The tool is based on inputs provided by the User (qualitative “yes/no” and quantitative such as values in absolute terms or %) and calculates the User’s readiness to start-up a new venture. In order to do so, the tool compares the qualitative inputs as well as current financial wealth of the User with projections calculated by algorithms that I will provide. The outcome is a “readiness index 0-100”. The User will access to its readiness index without registration and will receive more detailed feedbacks after his email registration. Mechanics The tool will be located in a simple web site (to be created in a straight, modern and minimalist style). A Database (to be created) has to manage all the inputs/outputs related to the registered User, as well as the input/output data related to no registered Users (these data will be kept only for statistical use). I will provide all the mechanics and algorithms in an excel spreadsheet. Basically after the User lands on a welcome page he can choose between two languages (English and Italian), than he will answer yes/no to some questions, and then will input numeric data. The algorithm will elaborate on the inputs and provide the readiness index. All these data have to be recorded for statistical use. If the User want to register, the data will be permanently linked to the User, and he will receive via e-mail further feedbacks provided by the algorithm. The registered User can access everytime on its recorded data and modify inputs in order to get updated feedbacks. New elaboration will have to be stored in the database (so a registered User might have more inputs/readiness indexes). Links to social to share the User experience will be placed in the tool/website. Proposal evaluation In order to do assess your proposal please provide reference to: - Previous web sites developed, and - A sample of what kind of graphics should you use for the website; - A sample of how would you structure the questionnaire for the user and the page with the result (i.e. the readiness index). Please refer to the annex paragraph to extract some questions of the questionnaire; - Some of your thoughts about the Database structure and management. - Suggestions (if you have any) to increase the traffic/visibility of the web site/tool. The skills on web design, php for the implementation of the tool, mysql for the DB management are of course relevant for the evaluation.
