Small partnership/team required for fast delivery of not-for-profit website: Launch date October 25th 2013 Budget £6000 This is a joint project between three leading women’s organisations EVAW, Imkaan and OBJECT funded by Rosa to provide young women with platforms to speak out against sexism and racism in music videos and for them to be heard in ‘the corridors of power’. Project REWIND will be an innovative community website with a feature set centred around blogging (no discussion forums, comments features or financial transactions required). It deals with sensitive cultural issues through the use of iconic graphical symbolism and social media sharing and must use modern interactive paradigms so as to be engaging for the young target demographic. It requires user registration, webform-to-email generation, rudimentary statistic gathering and must be easy for project contributors to administrate without additional consultation. As this is a not-for-profit project the ability to work fast within strict budgetary constraints is essential.
