I'm looking for some creative ideas for a new web site. The site will serve a company that does research surveys for universities.
The owner of the company has given me some screen shots of the types of schools that she will be working with. With this in mind, she wants to ensure that the image her site portrays will be of the same quality as these sample sites.
I've attached a zip file that contains these samples. They are from schools you will recognize, Duke, Harvard, etc. We are NOT looking to copy their designs. We just want to make sure the designs submitted will coexist nicely in these types of potential clients. The purpose is to look as if this company fits in with these types of institutions because some of them will be clients in the future.
Please understand that there is not any programming to be done for this project, at this time. Right now we are only looking for design ideas to present to my client. While no coding will be done, please make sure the designs submitted will easily convert to HTML/CSS. We want to stay away from heavy reliance on graphics. The design should allow for a site that will be quick loading, using CSS where possible as opposed to image slices for everything.
We would like to see at least three (3) unique mockups. Please bid accordingly.
We would like the winning bidder to also provide usable files once the project gets under way. That means sliced images where necessary, etc, when the actual coding of the project begins. So please keep them in PSD format also (or whatever for highest quality).
