CSS/XHTML Coding for Web App

The enclosed web form was built to target Internet Explorer only. We want to modify or rebuild it to work cross-browser. As well, we have many similar forms and want to abstract out a template that is separate from the content. Note: This is primarily an (X)HTML/CSS project. There should be none at all or very little Javascript coding. You can view the form at [login to view URL] Manager/[login to view URL] (you must view it in IE). 1) There are navigation links running down the left side of the form. Clicking these loads the data-entry portion of the screen. You only need to concern yourself with the first three: Main, Financial, Sales. Ignore the rest (treat them as placeholders) 2) You can modify our source files or rebuild from scratch. Please advise on how you think the HTML/CSS should be modernized to function better (i.e., elimination of tables, use of XHTML, etc.). 3) Use of IFrames should be eliminated 4) We want to replace the menus (the File menu, and the links menu on the right hand side of the screen) with a pre-built component, possibly the Yahoo UI Menu control ([login to view URL]). 5) As far as the data-entry portion of the form, you only need to deal with the rendering of the form elements. You do not need to do any anything to make it work or do any coding. 6) There should be a template that is separate from the contents of the form. Menu entries, navigation links, and the data-entry portions should be stored separate. 7) If the user increases the font size through the browser or changes the dpi setting in the OS, the form should scale accordingly. Alignment must remain consistent. Aside from font scaling, the form controls should not be liquid -- i.e., text boxes should not stretch or contract as a window is resized. In your response, please feel free to make recommendations. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform IE 5/6/7, Firefox 1.x, Opera, Safari
