I have been provided a sample .exe application (as well as all of the necessary .cpp and .h source files that relate to this app) that contains the code and functionality necessary to perform the AES encryption. The documentation states that the encryption class is a C++ wrapper around the Rijndael cipher. I need to have someone take this C++ source code and convert it into a Cold Fusion compatible .dll where I can pass the necessary variables in and receive a response through a CFX_ tag. There is already a tag very similar to what I am needing at [login to view URL], however I have used this tag, and it must not use the same mode or algorithm, as my string ends up NOT being what is expected after encryption. The company is INSISTENT that the encryption class that was provided in their sample files be used to encrypt and decrypt data, NOT any of the other methods that were found (we have also tried the PERL module for AES encryption, using all of the modes that are available within that, and still the string is not as expected!?), so maybe they are using their own variation of the algorithm? I would need the CFX_ tag to perform both encryption and decryption of a string that I would pass in, along with passing in a cipher key. The home server that this application lives on is running CF 4.5. This is a fairly urgent matter, as the encryption of the data was the last piece of work necessary in getting some crucial API communications functional.
