Dear Mr. Rueben,
Have worked on comic books restoration before, in 2003 I was responsible for scanning and restoring old comics from the early 1900's (Dirks, McKay, Herriman, McManus) for an educational compilation. I'm fully familiar with the trapping technique required to ensure proper high quality printing of the comicbooks (full black drawing over the colors) . I shoot a few pics from the book I was working on, see in my portfolio (the color are a bit odd, but that's due to the era this comics were printed, we needed to reproduce the same feeling). Also I'm regularly working with different comic artists in my country, helping them with layouts, lettering, etc...
I do have a few questions though:
Will you be supplying the scans? If you do, can you upload one here?
The text bubbles should be only cleaned up or we should completely retype the whole text?
Best Regards,
Arpad Terek
