Hi I guess what you need is not to invent but to copy something allready out there. If i am right than you won´t have much problems with design. Just a little tweeking here or there and thats it. What do you say?

I have extensive background in fasteners and fastening systems. I worked for several years at a company called Tinnerman-Palnut. This company was instrumental in developing "quarter-turn" fastening systems for the automotive industry. I was a key designer in the majority of their designs. I also started my engineering career working for an injection molding manufacturer. Here I worked for 7+ years designing injection molds. I have a firm grasp on the injection molding process and part design. I am currently employed as an engineering manager for a medical device company and use Freelancer as am means to supplement my income as well as sharpen my design/CAD skills. I have a tendency to bid on project even if my bid comes in over the suggested limit.
