Prototype Asset/Object Accountability System

This “asset/object accountability system” must provide positive accountability/recording for the objects inserted into, and removed from, any of the compartments that comprise the system. There are different versions of the system. A system may have One, Two, Four, Six or Twelve compartments. The prototype will be a two (2) compartment version. We need high value components, meaning reliable and accurate components for the best price possible, while ensuring ease of use by the operator. It is expected that components will be tied to a micro-controller which will coordinate the function of each component to achieve 100% accountability for the objects inside the compartments. However, the method of achieving component coordination is left to the Freelancer. Components will include: Bio-metric Fingerprint Scanners to allow access to asset; RFID System to identify assets; Power Supply for all components; WiFi Module; Alarm/Buzzer system if fault occurs; Access Door Position Switch; Access Door Solenoid Latch Switch; Compartment Choice Button; LED Indicator Lights and LCD Display plus a controller to coordinate functions of all components. The budget range is set extremely wide, because we are looking for a Freelancer who knows what it will cost them to complete this project and will bid it accordingly.
