1. What is the most important trait every project manager should have? A. He should be responsible, do everything to deliver the project in deadline with good quality work B. Good communication C, Ability to Build, manage and delegate task D. He should strategy and show their worth 2. What is your favorite project management software and why? A. JIRA We are using Agile method of development. JIRA is best for agile process management. 3. What was the biggest mistake you did as a project manager and what did you learn from it? A. Everything should be documented and written. lots of time, 4. What would be your approach to a project on which you lack the technical knowledge? A. We prefer to work extra and work from home and try to understand and learn the technology. We personally believe, if i don't know technology or my subject well. I cannot deliver proper solution. As such to deliver best application, you should be at least know technology and platform very well. 5. Explain this saying – “a project manager’s knowledge is inch deep and a mile wide”. Hello, “I am a Project Manager” 1) One of the most important traits of a successful project manager is to be a good communicator. 2) My favorite project management software is Basecamp because of its simple functionality and design. 3) The biggest mistake I did as a project manager early on in my career was not reviewing risks and dependencies regularly. I have since given utmost importance to these. 4) My approach in such projects would be to get the appropriate technical experts as key stakeholders and get them involved early on in the project. 5) A project manager has a pretty good idea about everything required in a project but without in-depth detailed knowledge. I am a Project Manager I've worked as a project manager and have experienced managing marketing and web development projects. I can work full-time and would like to have a long-term working relationship with you. Answers: 1. Organisational ability 2. I have only used Asana (I can learn other software though). I like Asana because everything is neatly organized in one place and gives a three column view. I also find the google drive integration useful. 3. Client is slow with communication resulting in people waiting for others to finish prerequisite tasks. What I did was to go ahead and move in the direction I think was best and then updated my client instead of just waiting for the back and forth discourse to finally take place. In one instance the client didn't like it so we had to revise. What I learned: 1. Explain beforehand the importance of a frequent communication and the consequences of not having one. 2. I should be able to defend my decision. 4. I would look for online tutorials and study it. 5. A project manager doesn't have to have an in-depth understanding of a specific technical skill but needs to be knowledgeable in a lot of things and can effectively lead a team and accomplish goals. In addition, I've been a virtual worker from 2005 to the present- I've been doing various projects online namely: affiliate marketing, email marketing, writing articles, researching/data analysis, doing White Hat SEO, SEM, SMM, Wordpress, project management etc. Thank you!
