We are seeking an **expert Delphi 2009 programmer** to join our team in the development of our **popular instant messenger application** "Chit Chat for Facebook". The programmer will be paid by time on a weekly basis. ## Deliverables **SKILLS AND ABILITIES** **The successful candidate will have the following credentials:** • Previous experience in programming in Delphi (ideally 2009) • Expert rating in Delphi ??" ideally Delphi 2009 • A good to excellent vWorker track record • Excellent general computer skills • Good working knowledge of English ??" and the ability to be able to communicate clearly and concisely. • Be able to work hard independently and as part of a team • Desire to work hard, achieve results and be successful **The following skills would be advantageous but not necessary:** • Specification writing experience? • XMPP experience • Proxy servers **Responsibilities:** • **Bug fixing** ??" Fixing current and future problems with the Chit Chat for Facebook application. Solving both reported problems and those reported with EurekaLog. • **Software testing**? ??" Thoroughly testing builds of Chit Chat for Facebook for problems prior to public release and during development. ? • **Development** ? - Will be responsible for development of new components for Chit Chat for Facebook, and the enhancement of existing ones • **Time Keeping** ??" Will need to work to a schedule and be productive • **Setup Application** ??" Will be responsible for editing and checking our inno setup application • **Communication** ??" Will need to be able to communicate effectively/professionally with internal and external development teams ??" including advertisers, and Facebook development team.? The candidate will need to be able to prioritise and be comfortable with changing priorities and agendas ??" for example urgent bug fixes take priority over new development.
