Hello there, I am a VB6 and VBA genius; I am also a native English speaker so nothing will get lost in translation. I would suggest doing this in Excel to be honest as it will allow you to maintain it without needing to worry about finding a VB6 programmer or moving the runtime environment every time you want to install it. If you have Excel on your desktop then it will work. As Excel is built for lists then you would be able to define as many search keys and replace fields as required, without having to have code changes made. I would need some example CSV files and what version of Excel you use, plus what types of search and replace you need (just numbers, text and numbers etc...) so I can make sure I cover all your requirements.
