I have a small linux program that we had created awhile back to test custom keypads in a small test environment. The program currently runs on a desktop computer running Ubuntu.
I am building a small test device using a raspberry pi and 7" screen, and currently the program doesn't fit in the window. At this point I don't need any functionality changed, but just the screen rearranged and made to fit.
In the attachments there is a sample screen layout that I think would work. But, I'm not sure how usable the button sizes are on that screen size. May need to make some modifications so that it's not hard for a user to use, constantly hitting an incorrect button.
Currently we have a keyboard and mouse connected to the test computer, but would like to just use the touchscreen going forward.
I'm not sure what the current program is written in, I've included a screen shot of the source code files. (I have the actual files when we get to that point.)
The layout doesn't have to be exactly like what's attached in the pdf as long as it's logically laid out and the buttons are usable on this small touch screen.
Once this is complete there will be a follow project to build some functionality into the "System Test Menu" button being added on the lower right. Basically is would be starting with a number, automatically clicking the "Poll Status" button, recording the results, increment the number by 1, click poll status again, record those results, etc, etc, and then graphically display the results. But I need to just get this screen resized first.
