English>Simplified Chinese Translation: Multiple jobs.

We require a dedicated individual or team to translate several documents from English into Simplified Chinese. The documents will be presented as a bilingual text with English on one side and Chinese on the other. Applicants must have experience, accuracy and great attention to detail in translating between English and Simplified Chinese. As some of the documents contain diagrams, shapes and text boxes, some experience in desktop publishing would also be preferred, however most final formatting will be done by us after receiving the translation. For the right applicant there will most likely be ongoing work. JOB DETAILS: Job 1: Job 1 is a 10-12 page proposal document in PowerPoint format with approximately 500-600 words on each page. The document may include tables, and will be pre-formatted to allow space for the Chinese translation. The current version of the document is attached for your consideration – the final version will be completed within 24 hours. Translation to be started immediately upon hiring and completed within 5 days. Job 2: Job 2 will be started following the completion and submission of Job 1. This job will include about 8 20-page workbooks, presented in Word format with bilingual facing pages (one side English, one Chinese). We will mostly likely ask for these one at a time. A PDF version of one workbook is attached for your consideration. This document includes diagrams which will also need to be translated. The final document we deliver for translation will be pre-formatted to allow space for the Chinese translation. When applying please indicate approximate cost and timeframe for this job.
