Build a Website

We are in need of a SharePoint 2010/2013 developer/ Designer to send us proposals. We intend to appoint a service provider to revamp its internet (website) in order for it to become more interactive and an effective channel of communication. The Brief- Navigation and framework: Easy and sleek navigation; - There should be three levels of navigation. This will ensure a user will be able to find content with a maximum of three clicks. - Search: Standard SharePoint 2010 and 2013 Search and advance search will be used: - Search engine optimization – Service Provider to ensure optimization on the internet (website) before hand-over to the RAF; - Users should be able to scroll up and down, but not be able to scroll left and right across the screen; therefore all content should fit into a standardized 1024 x 768 template; - Size to be able to adjust to every screen i.e. mobile tablets, Macs, touch screen, etc.; - Keep consistency between the navigation structure and site look and feel; - The website should be interactive and have a feedback feature; - Include visitors navigation history; - Link website map; - Website to have a photo gallery that allows for creation of folders; - Graphic usage should be in jpg and gif format for pictures; - The design has to be sleek and appealing; - Reduce the dimensions of picture information and use thumbnails for collections; and - Have a mobi-site version. Look and feel - There has to be a common thread in terms of the unfolding of the website concept carried throughout the site; - the content should be intuitive, to point and attractive to readers; - the service provider to ensure that the RAF brand corporate identity is adhered to; - Corporate signature to be placed on a static branding panel that appears through all the levels of the sites; - the service provide to come up with a creative, graphically appealing design and layout of the home page and sub-site pages, e.g. profile, products and services; - use Arial as a font; - Font size for headings, sub headings, etc. are specific in RAF’s Corporate Identity Manual, which will be shared with the service provider that will be working on the project; - the service provider to use standard SharePoint functionality; - Typography has to be sleek.
